The Last Adieu
James M. Lazo
Friendship wrought in unshaken walls,
Enriched with dreams, glee and struggles,
Thought this is forever and always,
But mighty fate changed thee in a sudden.
Radiant hope gropes in the dim of hipocracy,
Like a lonely bird, searching for a lonely tree,
While fancy vices plays with thee,
Here comes our friendship, fades slowly.
Though err is mine,
But I say apathy is thine,
For I contrive not to made thee blind,
But leads thee to thy ever dreamed paradise.
Now my friend, who is to blame?
With this unknown life, happy are those in vain,
Indeed, I am sorry, for maybe this is the destiny,
That my last adieu…belongs only for thee…
